Longest Happy Hour in the City?

This bold flyer, spotted at local fave the Attic, proudly proclaims having the longest happy hour in the city.  Of course, this is a hotly debated topic, as several other bars around the city also make a similar boast.  For instance, the Elbo Room also claims that their happy hour, from 5-9pm everyday, is the longest in the city.

Depending on how we want to look at this, both sides are technically correct.  The Elbo Room offers a more versatile longest happy hour, whereas the Attic’s weekend and Monday specials can not be denied.  Me?  I’d be happy just to know the longest and cheapest happy hours in the Mission.  Where do you go to forget the pain of your job (or just whenever the bar has drinks that you can actually afford)?

This post would have been 186 times better if you had spent 10 minutes looking up what rad happy hours happen other than two bars.

I hear its really fun for about an hour. Then it gets messy.

  3. Did you secretly do this so we’d all respond with the lists of bars and places we know with better longer happy hours? :)

The only place I know of with a longer one is the Buckhorn at 3rd and Geary, which has happy hour from noon to 9:00pm every damn wonderful day of the week. They also have shuffleboard and chicken fried bacon, which can make any hour happy in my book.

My vote goes to Lucky 13. Happy Hour EVERYDAY – Open til’ 8pm.

Mission Bar is so cheap it’s like it’s happy hour there all the time. It always shocks me when I go there and buy a round for like 4 people and it ends up being $9 or something.

The Uptown doesn’t have a happy hour but it always cheep.
